Roasting Multifunctional Overhead Crane is a specialized crane equipped with a vacuum material handling system, dust removal and cooling system, and anode carbon block clamping device. It is designed specifically to serve the anode carbon block roasting process line.
This equipment performs the following primary functions:
A 10-ton electric hoist is installed on the bridge to handle burners and perform maintenance on the roasting furnace.
The entire crane consists mainly of the electric trolley, bridge structure, trolley traveling mechanism, electric hoist, and electrical control system. The trolley comprises the suction-unloading system, clamping device, trolley frame, traveling mechanism, and operator’s cab. The trolley is controlled by a frequency inverter and PLC system for precise and efficient operation.
Metallurgical Industry – Anode and Ore Roasting Handling
In the anode roasting workshops of aluminum plants, the roasting multifunctional overhead crane plays a crucial role in loading green anodes and unloading baked anodes. It is equipped with high-temperature-resistant vacuum suction pads capable of handling carbon blocks at temperatures up to 1000°C. Meanwhile, on ore roasting lines for iron or nickel, it can also suction hot ore powder from the rotary kiln outlet and transport it to the cooling zone.
Chemical Industry – Catalyst and Lithium Battery Material Handling
During the catalyst roasting process in chemical plants, the crane uses a pneumatic suction system to transport calcined granular materials such as molecular sieves. These materials are often corrosive, so the suction pipelines are lined with stainless steel or ceramic. In the production of lithium battery cathode materials, it effectively transfers roasted lithium iron phosphate powder, preventing human contact with high-temperature materials. The vacuum suction speed is adjustable to accommodate different particle sizes of chemical products.
Building Materials Industry – High-Temperature Handling of Cement and Refractory Materials
In cement plants, the crane suctions clinker particles at approximately 800°C from the rotary kiln outlet and delivers them to the cooler through a sealed pipeline, ensuring no dust leakage throughout the process. In refractory material production, it handles roasted magnesia or high-alumina bauxite powder. The system is equipped with high-capacity vacuum pumps to enable fast suction and transportation of high-density materials.
Equipped with an integrated vacuum pump or pneumatic conveying system, it enables dust-free material transportation. The suction volume is adjustable to accommodate various particle sizes, ranging from fine powders to small lumps.
The suction pipes are made of water-cooled or heat-resistant alloy materials, capable of withstanding temperatures from 300°C to 1200°C. Key components, such as motors and cables, are protected with an IP65 or higher rating.
The roasting multifunctional overhead crane can be equipped with interchangeable tools such as grabs and clamps, achieving an integrated system for both suction and handling. It features automatic control (PLC + sensors), precise positioning, and real-time flow monitoring.
