Recently, a customized 20/5T double-girder overhead crane designed and manufactured by our company has successfully completed production and all factory acceptance tests. The crane is now fully assembled and ready for shipment to the customer’s site.
This overhead crane features a double-girder bridge structure with a 20-ton main hook and a 5-ton auxiliary hook, and a span of 31 meters, enabling it to efficiently meet the customer’s requirements for both heavy lifting and precise auxiliary handling within the same working area. The dual-hook configuration significantly improves operational flexibility and efficiency, especially in applications such as equipment installation, component turning, and coordinated lifting tasks.
During the design phase, our engineering team thoroughly analyzed the customer’s workshop layout, operating conditions, and workflow requirements. Key components—including the structural strength, traveling mechanisms, electrical control system, and safety protection devices—were comprehensively optimized. The main girders are fabricated from high-strength steel and subjected to strict non-destructive testing, ensuring excellent rigidity and long-term operational stability.
In terms of electrical and control systems, the crane is equipped with a full set of safety features, such as lifting height limiters, travel limit switches, overload protection, and emergency stop functions, ensuring safe and reliable operation under various working conditions. The crane supports both pendant control and remote control operation, making it easy to operate while effectively reducing labor intensity and improving on-site productivity.
Before delivery, the crane successfully passed no-load tests, static load tests, and dynamic load tests, with all performance indicators meeting the design specifications and relevant industry standards. The customer expressed high satisfaction with both the manufacturing quality and the delivery schedule.
The successful completion of this 20/5T double-hook double-girder overhead crane once again demonstrates our strong capabilities in customized design and manufacturing of medium and large overhead cranes.
